MPR article about having an e-device section at symphonies

Would this be nice to have – absolutely – if and only if, you were in a sealed off room by yourself.

Otherwise, it will be a distraction to all other concert goers. Yes, I read the article, and saw that you could only use in a special seating section. However, I can just imagine, even having perhaps only one percent (30 people) that would be using this app out of an orchestra hall’s total capacity of 3,000 audience members, there would still be ten percent of those 30 people (meaning, 3 tablet users) who would most likely not be careful enough, and drop their tablet, during the 2-3 hour performance, thereby causing at least 3 disturbances – and, with their bad luck, they would come at the most quietest time of the symphony movements.

Not for me, thanks – and I truly hope this is not allowed at any of the performances I attend.
