I’ve recently been watching reruns of the last few episodes of season 6 and the beginning of the final season (7) of West Wing and really wish we had presidential candidates such as the ones played by Jimmy Smits, Alan Alda, and/or Leo McGarry (John Spencer), Jed Barlett (Martin Sheen), instead of the dozen or more republican numbnuts that have thrown their hat in the ring so far. I really loved that show.
